The Town of Ossining is looking to appoint a volunteer to the Zoning Board of Appeals as an alternate member for a one-year term.
Requisite experience includes: architecture, engineering, land use, development, or another related field. Applicants must be a resident of the Town of Ossining, residency in the Unincorporated Town of Ossining is preferred.

The Zoning Board usually meets the first and/or third Monday of the month. However, the Board is convened only if there is an application on file two weeks prior to that date. Meetings are held at the John-Paul Rodrigues Operations Center, 101 Route 9A, at 7:30 PM.

The Town is looking to appoint Town Residents to the Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) for a five-year term.
The EAC usually meets the first Monday of each month. The committee advises on the development, management, and protection of the Town’s natural resources.
EAC members are appointed by the Board of the Town of Ossining and serve five-year terms with the charge to:

The Town Board is seeking a Town resident to recommend to the Village of Ossining Board of Trustees to be a volunteer member of the Village’s Civilian Police Complaint Review Board, as an alternate member.
Pursuant to an inter-municipal agreement, the Village of Ossining Police Department provides police services to the Unincorporated Town of Ossining.
The purpose of the Civilian Police Complaint Review Board is to provide for civilian participation in the review of investigation of complaints made against police officers. Under the Village Code, the eligibility requirements to be on the Civilian Police Complaint Review Board in either a member or alternate member capacity are as follows:
