The Town is looking to appoint a Town of Ossining resident to the Recreation Advisory Board for a three-year term.
The Recreation Advisory Board is comprised of Town of Ossining, Village of Ossining, and Village of Briarcliff Manor residents. The Advisory Board advises the Recreation Superintendent and Town and Village Boards on park facilities and recreational programs. The Advisory Board meets on the first Monday of every month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center.

The Town Board is seeking a Town resident to recommend to the Village of Ossining Board of Trustees to be a volunteer member of the Village’s Civilian Police Complaint Review Board, as an alternate member.
Pursuant to an inter-municipal agreement, the Village of Ossining Police Department provides police services to the Unincorporated Town of Ossining.
The purpose of the Civilian Police Complaint Review Board is to provide for civilian participation in the review of investigation of complaints made against police officers. Under the Village Code, the eligibility requirements to be on the Civilian Police Complaint Review Board in either a member or alternate member capacity are as follows:
